1932 Finnish-Captured Tula Mosin-Nagant 91/30, 7.62X54R, Used

A used 1932 Tula-manufactured Finnish-captured Mosin-Nagant 1891/30 in 7.62X54R. This rifle has not been refurbished. It has a small boxed "SA" property mark on the top of the barrel and a "41" property mark on the right side of the barrel. The 41 marking is believed to represent a rifle that was either in stock in an ordnance depot or a rifle that was repaired at an ordnance depot in 1941. This would indicated that this rifle is a Winter War (1939-1940) battlefield pick-up.

This rifle is "Finn matched," meaning that:

  • the bolt has been numbered to match the barrel
  • the buttplate has a stuck-over serial number
  • the bottom plate of the magazine has a non-matching serial number that has not been struck over.

The foresight is a Finnish 1891 foresight on a Finnish riser to make the sight functional with the original Soviet rear sight. The stock appears to be the original stock with a 1932 Tula cartouche. The handguard has brass caps. The barrel has strong rifling with some frosting. The cleaning rod is a post-war Soviet replacement.

This rifle has real history and is a great addition to any Finnish or military collection.

This used firearm is in NRA Good condition.*
